Step 1 — Cancel Amazon Prime
- Sign in at amazon.com → Account & Lists → Prime Membership.
- Click 'End Membership' (Amazon will offer a pause first — skip that).
- Choose 'End on [date]' or 'End now and refund'.
Step 2 — Request the refund
- If within 3 days of renewal and no Prime benefit was used, you'll be offered a full refund during the cancel flow.
- For prorated refunds, call Amazon customer service via the Contact Us page (chat works too).
- Refund settles in 3–5 business days.
